Welcome to BEDLINGTON JUNIORS FOOTBALL CLUB

A warm welcome to our website, the online presence of Bedlington Juniors Football Club. Our Club was founded in 1984 with only 2 teams by a small number of passionate individuals who were keen to develop junior football in our town. Since these early days, we have grown steadily to become one of the most respected and professionally run junior football clubs in the North East of England. We currently have boys teams at U8, U9 and U10 representing our Club in the Northumberland Mini Soccer League and U11, U12 and U13 participating in the North East's largest junior football league, The NABC Football League based in Newcastle upon Tyne. We also have a thriving Girls Football Section with teams representing our Club at U10, U11, U12 and U14 in the Northumberland Girls League and dozens of girls who attend our girls development training. The 2008/2009 season sees the Club reach our 25th Anniversary.

In 2005 after a great deal of effort by the Club, we were delighted to be awarded the prestigious Charter Standard by the Football Association in recognition of making Bedlington Juniors a safe and enjoyable environment for our children to play football. This has recently been renewed following demonstration to the FA of high standards and will be valid until February 2012.

We are fully committed to the FA's RESPECT campaign and invite you to click on the link for further information AND TO VIEW THE NEW RESPECT VIDEO. We ask ALL our members, their family and friends to show RESPECT. We will shortly be asking all involved with Bedlington Juniors to sign up to the RESPECT Codes of Conduct - this will be a requirement of membership to our Club.

Above all, we aim to develop an environment where our children feel respected, valued and part of a TEAM and a CLUB. We ask all our coaches, members and their parents and supporters to recognise the principles of our Codes of Conduct and to adhere to them at all times for the good of the Club.

We are always actively seeking new friendship and sponsorship from local businesses who, like ourselves, are keen to see grassroots football thriving in Bedlington. If you or your company can help in any way, please contact us.

We will shortly be commencing our recruitment process for season 2009/2010's teams. If you'd like to find out more about our Club or would like to attend one of our training sessions, please contact the relevant team coach from the contacts page.
